A PLAT OF SURVEY is an expansion of a boundary survey. Typically a plat of survey will show all improvements on the property including but not limited to buildings, driveway, patio, pool, well, septic cap and vents, etc.. A plat of survey is a resurvey of an existing lot using the recorded legal description stated on the deed. The survey will show any lot monumentation found at the corners, as well as missing lot corners reset or if lot lines were marked out. Possible encroachments shall be noted on the survey as well.
